The Folketing ( , -daˈfʌlg̊ətˢeŋˀ), is the national parliament of Denmark. The name literally means "People's thing"-that is, the people's governing assembly. It is located in Christiansborg Palace, on the islet of Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen.
