FL Studio (formerly known as FruityLoops) is a digital audio workstation developed by Belgian company Image-Line Software. FL Studio features a graphical user interface based on a pattern-based music sequencer. The program is available in four different editions for Microsoft Windows, including FL Studio Express, Fruity Edition, Producer Edition, and the Signature Bundle. Image-Line differentiates FL Studio from competing software by offering lifetime free updates to the program, meaning customers receive all future updates of the version they purchase for free. Image-Line released FL Studio Mobile on June 21, 2011 so the program can be used on iPods, iPhones, and iPads.

FL Studio can be used as an instrument in other audio workstation programs such as Cubase, Sonic Solutions, and Logic, and is also compatible with dozens of Image-Line and third-party plugins such as the DJ mixing program Deckadance and the synthesizer Sytrus. FL Studio is used by electronic musicians and DJs such as Afrojack, Deadmau5, 9th Wonder, and Basshunter.

This is one of my favorite songs from bollywood movies. Pritam has somehow got the knack of making great love songs that are also catchy. Loved the song and especially the chorus...overall its soft,sensual, melodious and perfect romantic number. Been a while since i did covers, though i will start with this song since it has been looping on my ipod for sometime now. Enjoyed coming up with the entire interludes and the chorus bits. The song is in a very different scale compared to most of other numbers and thus the piano and bass mix makes it sweet to the ears. Just made the video with collection of pictures depicting love. I named it Guitar Sound. just havin some fun with a guitar sound (Hard Ramp AS1&2) on the Motif XS8. Some have asked about the "low notes" that come out when I hit those two keys up top - those are guitar effects built in the patch and for whatever reason, Yamaha put those effects on the high keys. I made the background beat using FL Studio. I start the beat by hitting the space-bar on my computer keyboard before I play on the synth. PS. I've read some reviews of this vid as if I'm trying to be a "keytar" player (apparently not a desirable thing, but how can you not like Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein") and that I should just play a real guitar. LOL @ some of those same people who probably play guitar hero (nothing against it but hopefully you see my point)! The irony! The point is, folks, if you find a fun/inspiring sound to jam with, by all means, you should JAM WITH IT! I don't care if you find a $3.00 plastic trumpet. Don't worry about the technicalities and what people say. In the long run it's about the fun that YOU have making music. Thanks for watching!!!

THIS IS FUN!!!!! I don't have much done on this beat, but like usual, I thought I would upload the beginnings of it. It's been one of my favorite beats to work on so far. It'll be on my next CD for sure. I'm super-thankful for all the comments, subscriptions, and for those that check out my CD. FYI: I made the beat using FL Studio (software) and the Yamaha Motif XS8. The patch I'm using is called "Buzz Around". Again, I like this new keyboard, but I discovered I'm not a fan of weighted keys (except for piano stuff). I might trade down to the XS7 eventually.

I messed with it quite a bit before I filmed, but each time it came out drastically different. LOL I used FL Studio 8 and my Motif XS8 to make this one. The sound I'm using is actually an e-piano (patch is called "Drive EP AS1" on the Motif XS series. I adjusted the distortion and delay to make it sound like it is.
