Euronews is an international multilingual news television channel launched on 1 January 1993 in Lyon. It covers world news from a European perspective, and is available in ten language services (Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish + Ukrainian on August, 24th).
It claims to be available in 350 million households in 155 countries worldwide.
Since its launch, euronews has been striving to supply factually-correct information in a non-superficial format. Far from political interests, euronews is already the ultimate TV journalism laboratory. Every day, euronews' team of over 370 journalists of more than 20 different nationalities work together reporting on relevant stories to serve its global audience, driven by a solid uncompromising journalism.
On 4 June 2008, the channel redesigned its logo, on-air presentation and website. On 11 January 2011, it redesigned its on-air identity and website.
