Emile William Ivanhoe Heskey (born 11 January 1978) is an English footballer who plays for Aston Villa as a Centre Forward.

Born in Leicester, Heskey started his career with Leicester City in 1995. He made an £11 million move to Liverpool in 2000, which, at the time, was the record transfer fee paid by the club. At Liverpool, he won multiple honours, including the FA Cup in 2001. He moved to Birmingham City in 2004, Wigan Athletic in 2006 and to current club Aston Villa in 2009.

Heskey was an England international, of Antiguan descent. He made his international debut against Hungary in a 1 1 draw in 1999 and has gone on to attain 62 caps and score seven goals for the team. He lost his place in the squad after UEFA Euro 2004, during which he failed to shine and was the subject of much criticism. After a long lay-off from international duty, Heskey was recalled to the England squad for UEFA Euro 2008 qualifiers in September 2007. He retired from international football following the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

This is a compilation of Emile Heskey. Englands best ever striker. He doesn't score many goals but that's not why he's in the team. Imagine playing against someone with as much power, strength and pace as him. You'd hate. His attitude towards the game is amazing, all the stick he gets and doesn't complain once. He just gets on with the game. Heskey has played for: Leicester City Liverpool Birmingham City Wigan Athletic Aston Villa England National Team A true legend.

Aston Villa playing against Fiorentina in a pre season friendly at Villa Park, debut outing for the excellent Fabian Delph first game after winning the Peace cup which is paraded around the ground at half time, this video features Brad Friegel, Brad Guzon, Curtis Davis, Nicky Shorey Fabian Delph, John Carew, Gabby Agbonglahore, Ashley Young, James Milner, Gardener etc. Having seen off Juventus on penalties in last Sunday's Peace Cup final, a goal from Emile Heskey was enough to beat Serie A's fourth best side, Fiorentina. In a further repeat of Seville, there was more Italian spot-kick woe as Alberto Gilardino saw his second-half penalty cannon off the post. Although it was a glaring chance for La Viola to earn a share of the spoils, MON will have been happy with his side's performance in the final dress rehearsal before the Barclays Premier League campaign. New signing Fabian Delph had a particularly pleasing debut, while England under-21 trio Gabby Agbonlahor, James Milner and Craig Gardner gained valuable playing time on their return. Milner played a huge part in the winning strike, threading fellow winger Ashley Young clear on the left-hand side. Young sent a firm, low cross to the near post and Heskey raced into the box to thump past Sebastien Frey on 14 minutes. The visiting goalkeeper had a busy first-half, twice denying Young as well as holding Milner's rasping half-volley. There was also a moment of brilliance from Frey's opposite number Brad Friedel, who ...

Michael Owen is without a doubt, one of the greatest forwards ever to play for England. In this game he scores a hat trick in a 2002 World Cup qualifier, Steven Gerrard scores a belter plus a rare goal from Emile Heskey. Martin Tyler & Andy Gray commentary from Sky Sports Classics.
