Eddie Van Boxtel (born August 4, 1973) is a Dutch-Irish former football goalkeeper.

A member of the legendary Home Farm schoolboys team that went unbeaten for seven years the former Republic of Ireland national football team youth international started his League of Ireland career with Dundalk F.C.. Five years at Oriel Park yielded a League winners medal in 1995. He also represented the club in the UEFA Cup and the League of Ireland in a tournament in the United States in 1996.

During this time Van Boxtel saved a penalty from Manchester United star Eric Cantona in a friendly in 1994.

He moved to Galway United in 1996 and won two trophies while at Terryland Park. After one season in the west he signed for Martin Lawlor's Drogheda United. One season later he signed for Monaghan United.

In February 2008, he appeared in Naas District Court in connection with the seizure of 10 million euro worth of cannabis in Co. Kildare.
