Lukasz Gottwald (born September 26, 1973), better known as Dr. Luke, is a Grammy-nominated American songwriter, record producer, and remixer. Luke performed with the Saturday Night Live Band band for ten seasons until 2007. He has co-written and co-produced a string of commercially successful songs. He was named one of the top ten producers of the decade by Billboard in 2009 and the Songwriter of the Year at the 2010 ASCAP Pop Music Awards.

Femme Fatale est le septième album studio de la chanteuse américaine Britney Spears. Sa sortie mondiale se fera le 29 mars 2011. Ce nouvel opus a pour producteur exécutifs Max Martin et Dr Luke, lesquels ont déjà travaillés avec la chanteuse sur son précèdent album studio Circus sorti en 2008. Les producteurs Bloodshy & Avant, Darkchild, Shellback ou encore Benny Blanco avec qui la chanteuse a déjà travaillé auparavant apparaissent également sur des productions de l'album. Conception Suite à l'achèvement de la promotion de son second « Best of », The Singles Collection, beaucoup de rumeurs sont apparues sur le net quant à un nouvel album studio de Britney Spears. Les rumeurs amorcées par les producteurs Danja et Darkchild voulaient qu'une nouvelle ère soit lancée dès l'été 2010. Cependant ces allégations ont été démenties par le manager de la chanteuse Adam Leber. En août 2010, Britney Spears annonce sur Twitter être actuellement en studio d'enregistrement. En novembre 2010, c'est le producteur Dr Luke qui rompt le silence en annonçant qu'il serait le co-producteur exécutif du septième album et ce accompagné de Max Martin. Il confie lors d'une interview au magazine Hollywood Reporter être « très content de coproduire le disque avec Max, la personne qui a en quelque sorte fabriqué Britney ». Quant à l'orientation musical de ce nouveau projet, il déclare lors d'un entretien avec le magazine Billboard : « Je voudrais que le son soit plus brut. Et peut être un peu plus <b>...</b>
