Didier Tsonga is a Congolese handball player, originally from the capital Brazzaville, and currently residing in France. He is the father of tennis player and 2008 Australian Open runner-up Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Sasha, who is older than Jo-Wilfried, and Enzo, who is a part of the French junior basketball program. He is married to Évelyne, a Frenchwoman.
He was originally from Brazzaville and moved to France in the 1970s to play handball. He and his wife now work as teachers in France.
