Craig Douglas Bellamy (born 13 July 1979 in Cardiff, Wales) is a Welsh footballer who plays as a striker for Liverpool F.C. and the Welsh national team. Bellamy was the captain of the Welsh national side for four years after taking over from Ryan Giggs in 2007, but stood down in January 2011 due to constant injuries. Since making his professional debut for Norwich City in 1997, he has played for a number of clubs in England, making his name at Newcastle United when signed by Bobby Robson in 2001 and has also had a loan spell with Scottish Premier League side Celtic in 2005. On 31st August 2011, Bellamy completed a move back to former club Liverpool from Manchester City.

During his career, Bellamy has won the Scottish Cup and FA Community Shield. He has also been criticised for his behaviour both on and off the pitch, but has accumulated thousands of pounds for various charities and has also established a football academy in Sierra Leone.

During the post match interview after an incredible victory over Chelsea, Man City forward Craig 'The Don' refuses to comment on the scandal involving team-mate Wayne Bridge and Chelsea captain John Terry - and then seconds later proceeds to comment in sensational style. What do you think?

Craih Bellamy provides us with another one of his interviews. Always colourful and makes great viewing but this one goes to far, especially saying Finland "are not a good side" and "two poor sides trying to contest this group and none of us have got a glimmer of hope of qualifying" saying it is fact. He then verbally attacks Jonathan Johansson saying "he scored, don't know how, don't think he is a good enough player to score.

The end of Craig Bellamy's 'difference of opinion' with a Welsh supporter after Wales' 1-0 defeat to Poland in a friendly in Portugal. Sorry I didn't catch more of it folks as all you can see is Bellamy swearing at the bloke and then leaving down the tunnel, but it came a bit out of the blue really!!!!!! Don't know exactly who he was shouting at but some lads were shouting a couple of things his way during an interview he was giving.
