The Canadian Football Hall of Fame is a not-for-profit corporation, located in Hamilton, Ontario, that celebrates great achievements in Canadian football. It is an open to the public institution. It includes displays about the Canadian Football League, Canadian university football and Canadian junior football history. It includes a gift shop and the Hall recently opened a website. The main feature of the Hall is the central portion of the museum where inducted members, each with a metal bust depicting their head, are displayed. There are also featured displays that highlight each Canadian Football League team's history, and an interactive field goal kicking exhibit.

Once during every CFL season, the Hall sponsors the induction ceremony of former players. Included in the "Hall of Fame Weekend" is a regular season game, usually (but not always) affiliated with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Traditionally, the inducted players will come to the Hall and make an acceptance speech in front of the building where their newly sculpted bust is unveiled. A player must be retired from the game for at least three years before being eligible for consideration. A Hall of Fame voting committee is composed of sports writers, selected CFL executives and inducted members.

The Canadian Hall of Fame officially opened on November 28, 1972. It is located in downtown Hamilton, beside the former Hamilton City Hall and Family Courts Building, which is inside the former Andrew Carnegie library on Main Street, between Bay Street and MacNab Street.

The Canadian Hall of Fame is easily identified by the slightly-larger-than-life metal sculpture Touchdown, featuring a successful receiver being tackled. Currently, the Canadian Football Hall of Fame has honoured over two hundred inductees: sixty-two in the Builders category and one hundred and forty-seven players. Charter membership to the Hall began on June 19, 1963.

The Canadian Football Hall of Fame is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is seven dollars for adults. During many months the Grey Cup is displayed in the Hall's foyer. During each Hamilton Tiger-Cats home game the Hall extends hours until game time, though Ivor Wynne Stadium is several kilometres east of downtown Hamilton.

The 2010 CFL Hall of Fame ceremonies took place in Saskatchewan: the game (BC Lions at Saskatchewan Roughriders) on August 12 in Regina, and the induction dinner in Saskatoon on August 14.

Part 2: youtu.be This is an instalment of the first season of the Mini Series "HiStory" or, as it is pronounced, "His Story." The five part mini-series ran for three years on national TV in Canada and on various US sports networks. Each show focused on a single professional football player, his life and his career. The show concept was created and developed by Christina Saint Marche and produced by her North American based entertainment company, Signature Entertainment Corp. and its French counterpart Divertissement Signature Inc. Script research and development was undertaken by School of Rock & R. Chance Saint Marche. Mike Visser was the show's director of cinematography for the first year as each of the five shows were shot in High Definition. In the later two seasons the shows switched to shooting on film. The show was edited on location at NFL Films. One aspect of the shows that is interesting is the voice overs and radio calls which were recreated by Calgary's Mark Stephen. It was a difficult task as many of these games were played back in the 1980's but Mark made the viewer feel as if he had been present at the game broadcast and actually, in some of these games he had been. Calgary's Dan Toth was the talent for the show. Dan was the number one seed newspaper reporter for the Calgary Herald Newspaper. Today, Dan has migrated into the digital world as a reporter and web content designer.
