Brett Ashley Mark Angell (born 20 August 1968 in Marlborough, Wiltshire) is an English association football coach and former player, now coaching in New Zealand. His brother Darren is also a former professional footballer.

Turning professional with Portsmouth in 1986, he made his mark as a striker the following year after moving to Cheltenham Town. In 1988 he joined Stockport County via Derby County, before signing with Southend United in 1990. Impressing at the club, he won a move to Everton four years later. In 1995 he transferred to Sunderland, after spent part of 1996 on loan at Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion, before he returned to Stockport later in the year. Successful in his second spell with the club, he was loaned out to Notts County and Preston North End, before ending up at Walsall in 2000. Two years later he joined Queens Park Rangers via Rushden & Diamonds and Port Vale. He retired in 2003 with 502 league appearances and 187 league goals to his name.
