Bolivar County is a county located in the Mississippi Delta region of the U.S. state of Mississippi. As of 2010, the population was 34,145. It is named in honor of Simón Bolívar, leader of the liberation of several South American countries from Spain in the early 19th century. Its county seats are Rosedale and Cleveland .

The Cleveland Micropolitan Statistical Area includes all of Bolivar County.
