Binghamton University, also formally called State University of New York at Binghamton, is a public research university in the State of New York. The University is one of the four university centers in the State University of New York (SUNY) system. Since its establishment in 1946, the University has grown from a small liberal arts college to a large doctoral-granting institution, presently consisting of six colleges and schools, and is now home to nearly 15,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Binghamton University is currently ranked 86th among the 262 national universities ranked in the 2011 U.S. News America's Best Colleges and Universities ranking and is a Public Ivy. The Carnegie Foundation has classified the University as RU/H (Research Universities with high research activity). The University's main campus is located in the Town of Vestal, with a secondary education center located in the nearby downtown Binghamton, New York.

The Binghamton University (www.BinghamtonFacebook.com) Events Center was filled with laughter provided by undergraduate Anthony Corvino, a bachelors degree candidate in political science, chosen to deliver the undergraduate student commencement remarks. Corvino championed the "average" individuals out there, who aren't often in the limelight, unlike their genius fellow students. The political science major thanked his "average" mom for always sending him a package of Swedish Fish and Sour Patch Kids on Halloween, and he proclaimed his opinion that Wikipedia is the greatest innovation ever. He then urged fellow graduates to thank those who helped them get to this point in their life. He also told his compatriots that while they may be "average," that doesn't mean they can't have an effect on the world and others. "You aren't given opportunity," Corvino said. "You fight for it." Corvino will remain at Binghamton to pursue his masters degree in elementary education. He has performed with the Dickinson Community Players and in Bard in the Yard and is currently the president of the Roller Hockey Club.

This is a toilet we found on our way back from the Reel Big Fish concert. After you flush it, there is a loud noise that resembles a fart.

I shot this video during my junior year of college at Binghamton University in upstate NY. Harpur's Ferry is an entirely student run volunteer ambulance service that provides Advanced Life Support to students and residents in the surrounding county. The year this video was shot, Harpur's Ferry was named the New York State EMS Agency of the Year. HF also placed first in the National College EMS Foundation's ALS skills competition, and this video inspired an annual NCEMSF video competition. In case you're wondering who I am, thats me with the safety vest on, and thats also me intubating the patient in the back of the ambulance. I had a great time producing this video and will never forget the people I met or the experiences I had while working at Harpur's Ferry. I could not have asked for a more unique or more rewarding way to spend 4 years of my life. This video is dedicated to everyone who made that possible.
