Bellinzona (-itbɛllinˈdzoːna; , -frbɛlɛ̃zonpron; archaic -deˈbɛlɛnts; Latin Bilitio -labiˈlitsjo) is the capital city of the canton Ticino in Switzerland. The city is famous for its three castles (Castelgrande, Montebello, Sasso Corbaro) that have been UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2000.
