José António Caldas Oliveira (born 1 May 1959 in Braga, Portugal) is a Portuguese football manager who has mainly managed his boyhood club of SC Braga with the management of the first team, B team and the under 19 team. Caldas began his career with Leixões in which he was manager for two seasons from 1996 to 1998. In 1998 he then moved on to SC Braga U19 for one season and after this spell he was appointed manager of SC Braga B, which he managed for six seasons from 1999 to 2005 and launched the career of the current SC Braga in Portugal and the number 1 keeper Eduardo. In 2005 he went to the north GD Chaves club for two seasons where he did a great job withdrew the club from last place and CLOC in 4th place then suffered the agony in the 2006/07 season where he left the club and the 7th day after the club was eventually demoted League of Honor for the Portuguese Second Division, then transferred in 2007 to a season for his team previously managed SC Braga U19. After the resignation of Manuel Machado due to poor results near the end of the season he was appointed manager until the end of the 2007/08 season the first team and put the club in the Intertoto cup.
