The 2003 Japanese Grand Prix was a Formula One race held on October 12, 2003 at the Suzuka Circuit.

At this race Michael Schumacher won his 6th World Championship, breaking Juan Manuel Fangio's record set in the 1950s. Schumacher finished 8th despite qualifying well down the field and a collision with BAR driver Takuma Sato during the race resulting in a broken front wing.
